July 19, 2023

Range Rovers are a well-known vehicle that are well liked and much appreciated by many. Known for their off-road capabilities, the Range Rover is possible to navigate in a variety of terrains. All of this is due to the air suspension systems that come with the Range Rover. The suspension system is admired and desired by many, there are some things that tend to go wrong with the suspension system of the Range Rover. For the air suspension system to work properly as it is known to do, all the many components must be in working order. There are signs that may occur when there may be suspension issues on the horizon, and here are some things you can be on the lookout for.

The air suspension system of the Range Rover is made of several major components. The air suspension system in your Range Rover can break down and fail; luckily there are some symptoms you can watch for to see if there will be an issue with your air suspension system.

Many suspension issues will show as a small air leak in the lines of the air struts that are on your Range Rover. Whenever the leak begins, it can cause the compressor to incessantly add more air to the system. When this issue persists for a long time, it is more likely that the suspension system will sag on the side that there is a leak on. If you don't get this fixed your compressor may fail completely.

Whenever the air compressor must compensate for a leak on a constant basis, it will eventually wear out. When you have your compressor wearing out, there will be a loud sound; that sound will increasingly get louder or it will seize your suspension system all together. If your compressor isn't functioning properly, it won't be able to get air to the struts. The suspension system will not be able to adjust and the strut that has a leak will continuously sag.
